Stuff We Do During the Service

Father Matthew is an Episcopal priest and the curate at Christ Church in Rye, New York.  He has made a series of YouTube videos that do a great job of explaining many aspects of church life and worship.  They are entertaining and informative, and provide a fun way to learn more about the "stuff we do during the service."  We hope you enjoy them.

Father Matthew talks about the gesture of the Sign of the Cross we see the clergy and some others use during worship.
Father Matthew explains where the Kiss of Peace originated and how it is used in worship today.
Father Matthew presents the theology behind our celebration of the Sacrament of Eucharist.
Father Matthew helps us understand the significance of the Sacrament of  Baptism.
